On May 8, John Muir is hosting a read and ride event for students who are entering Kindergarten in September 2026. This is a great opportunity for incoming Kindergarten students to be introduced to their new school, meet one of our Kindergarten teachers, take a ride on a school bus, and receive a book. Please see the attached poster to register!

Late French Immersion is a program where students enter in Grade 6 and learn to become fluent in French. By Grade 8, they are at the same fluency level as Early French Immersion students (who enter the program in Kindergarten or Grade 1). If you have a child entering Grade 6 in September 2026 and is interested in joining the French Immersion program, there is an information session at Journey Middle School on January 22nd at 6:30pm. Please see attachment for more information.
